Hilariously out of place drummer.

That guy is freaking amazing... what is he doing playing with those guys? Until I saw this I had no idea it was possible to windmill a tom. There are about 1000 things that are awesome about this video.

Ammonites Washbasin

This is a stunningly well designed slab of concrete. This thing that I am most impressed by is the quality of the surface, it has a nice tactile look to it. It makes me want to touch it. I would imagine it sounds nice too.

SMEG - A company to be aware of

Here is just one example of the really cool stuff that SMEG offers. The only problem with this company is the absolutely abysmal website. All of their products are extremely cool, however their website makes me wary of them. All cool stuff for ideas if you can sort through the bad site.

Baumatic - Cool appliance company.

Here is a link to the awesome catalog of Baumatic, they have some very fun designs and colors to make you kitchen extra exciting, they give you more options besides black white or steel. I especially like their entire line of "Dance Partners" kitchen appliances.

Gunnar Optics - Glasses for Videogamers

I don't know if I would call these glasses "awesome", but I would call them glasses. They claim to protect and hydrate(?) your eyes like no other glasses can. I think that they look cool to boot, but this style may not be for everyone. My skepticism on the legitimacy of their claims aside, check out their website.

Iconic Motors

Amazing new American Supercar. Serious style, "inspired" obviously by the Shelby Cobra, but the interior looks significantly more like that of a technologically modernized Maserati.

Enjoy.

Machine Animals.

Nantes, France is hosting an exhibition of mechanical sculptures by François Delarozière and Pierre Orefice. Each sculpture is also a moving vehicle. Besides this 11-meter tall elephant, see the giant squid, deep-sea fish, and more. I loved the "Sewn Cars". Genius.

In another stunning combination of vintage and modern here is the functioning tube amp/charger for the iPod. Beautiful and pricey, but wow would it look great on my desk.

The photography of Nick Brandt at Young Gallery.

Beautiful nature photography. Mostly African, there are some very moving and beautiful images to be seen here, I particularly like the Elephant Exodus.

Stylish and inexpensive tea kettle.

Nice and stylish, this is a sleek little tea kettle. The best part is the price, $40. So get over to good old neighborhood high fashion Target store and pick one of these little babies to make your friends jealous.
