Fallout 3 News
There are 3 New Expansions and Download-able Content For Fallout 3 Coming:
They are (In Release Order):
1. Operation Anchorage. Due out in January. (Slated For The 15th)
2. The Pitt. Due out in February. (Slated For The 15th)
3. Broken Steel. Due out in March. (Slated For The 15th)
A Brief Overview Of What Each Release Will Include:
Operation Anchorage:
This is a much snowier location than the wasteland we are used to, but still seem to be just as waste-y and land-ey. This will be a simulation (like a certain unforgettable part of the main quest) that lets you play through the Liberation of Anchorage from the Fallout Lore. The main enemy will be The Chinese Red Army. There will be several types of unique weapons, armor, and a new perk called "Covert Ops". Also... there will be ninjas. Here are some screenshots of Operation Anchorage: (Click The Thumbnails To See Larger View)
The Pipeline:
The Cannons:
The Hovercraft?:
The Gun:
The Map:
The Suits:
The Base:
The Water:
The Ninja:
(This Guy's Job is surprisingly simple. His job is to get shot in the face so that I can wear his clothing.)
Here is a link to an interview about Operation Anchorage.
The Pitt:
This DLC (Down-Loadable Content) sees your character head to the remains of Pittsburgh to explore a raider town built there. There is not much more information than this currently available.
Broken Steel:
This DLC sees the player join up with the Brotherhood Of Steel to continue the battle against The Enclave. This DLC will make it so that the completion of the game does not end the player's adventure and will allow them to continue their quests in the Capital Wasteland. This DLC will also push the Level Cap from 20 to 30.
Each expansion will cost 800 Microsoft Points. ($9.99 to Humans)

Bookshelf Paintings
Yes you heard that right, bookshelf paintings. The artist goes to her customer's homes and photographs their bookshelves, paints them onto a very personalized piece of art, and the customers can then hang them on their wall, preferably next to the bookshelf. The cycle is complete.
