Lil' Bill O'Reilly
Yea, this is almost exactly what I hear when big Mr. O'Reilly spews his ignorant verbal diarrhea. Well done parody, if only they had to exaggerate.

Savage - Swing
I accidentally got this song stuck in my head all day yesterday. I thought that I would share the song with you, when I found the video I thought it was totally hilarious. I assume that this guy has an awesome sense of humor. I think the 3 guys walking through the laundromat are quite funny.
I hope you enjoy. I did.

CBS Sarah Palin Video Part 2
Here is a supplement to yesterdays post about Sarah Palin. The fact that she could make, and is making, American history is stunning and appalling on a ridiculous scale.

CBS Sarah Palin Interview
Holy Shit people! Did you see this interview? How is this even an option! Seriously. Katie Couric would be a much better VP choice.

Mark Ryden's art for Obama
Mark Ryden is selling limited edition lithographic posters of this painting titled "The Pumpkin President" there are only 500 and they are $500 each. All of the proceeds go to Barak Obama's campaign.
If I had a cool spare half-grand lying around, it would be framed and in my living room right now.

Wal Mart - Strong-arming employees to vote Republican.
To those of you whom I spoke to about the video that I saw on MSNBC about Wal-Mart and the Memo that they sent out and the content of their recent store mettings, I have been unable to find that particular video back on MSNBC or anywhere on the web. It seems to have puzzlingly disappeared. (Please insert whatever conspiracy theory supports your beliefs here.) So, in my search to find the video I have only been able to locate the story at the link HERE. It comes from the wall street journal. It is also SEVERELY toned down from the piece that was run on MSNBC. There is also no mention of the memo that was shown on the screen and read from on the video, which said things like "Voting Democrat means most of you will lose your jobs." (As read aloud by a supervisor at a store meeting in Arizona, then repeated in spanish by a translator.) They have identified the meetings for the supervisors but not the mandatory store meetings where the information was distributed.
Also, Fox News had an article at the same time as the video on MSNBC went up, with the primary message being something along the lines of, "Wal-Mart warns employees of union problems." which went further into detail to describe how Wal-Mart is "doing it's part to protect it's workers from the issues that come along with unionization." and has since removed that article and replaced it (at the exact same URL) with the first few paragraphs of the WSJ article and a link to that article.
Scandalous.
If anyone can help me track down the original video on MSNBC, I last watched it streaming from their website on Friday Sept. 19 at approximately 11:00 pm. If you know of a youtube or vimeo link, please let me know and I will post it here. Also if anyone has a backup or archive of the Fox News article removed from the URL linked to below. Please let me know and I will repost them on my personal FTP.

Timelapse 31-48.
This is a fascinating time lapse photography session lasting 17 years. I think it is quite cool that he has something that separates him from all of the other time lapse photo sessions on youtube now: first, the sheer duration of the time covered is staggering. Second, the rotational element.
Enjoy.

I am probably more upset than anyone else, so until then I hope that you will enjoy this picture. It comforts me.
Thank you for your patience.

Sticking to a lie.
How to stick to a lie:
Step 1: Don't respond to direct questions.
Step 2: Change the subject and attack the person asking the question.
Step 3: Look like an ignorant jackass on television.
Thank you for that lesson, Brad Blakeman.
To infinity and Beyond
With all of the political bullshit hoarding all of the media's attention, I dare you to read this story and not get a little bit misty. Seriously, if you have ever known someone with autism, you know how amazing this is. Seriously.

Gunnar Optics - Glasses for Videogamers
I don't know if I would call these glasses "awesome", but I would call them glasses. They claim to protect and hydrate(?) your eyes like no other glasses can. I think that they look cool to boot, but this style may not be for everyone. My skepticism on the legitimacy of their claims aside, check out their website.
