God Of War III
Is anyone else excited? Hopefully this will be on the 360, it would be a wast not to be. I can't say I would buy a PS3 just to play it, I resisted buying a PSP for Chains Of Olympus... I will vote with my money by not giving in.

Maybe we wouldnt need to bail the automakers out if they acted like this.
Something people often forget is how terrible Japan's economy was in the 80s, they have bounced back to have one of the strongest economies in the world. It is a shame that Americans can't seem to learn from what others (and oftentimes ourselves) have done in the past. I love to see stuff like this, it makes me believe a little bit more in humanity.

Peter Schiff knew what he was talking about.
I love the fact that these assholes on Fox News were laughing in his face while he was perfectly predicting what was about to happen. I was disappointed with Ben Stein, I really like that guy, he is one of my favorite Republicans, he was wrong... but he wasn't really a dick, like that guy with the Michael Bolton haircut guy.

QWOP - Easily the hardest that I have laughed at a Flash Game
This game is hilarious, it seems like you should easily be able to control your character's motion, but no, that is not the case. I love watching your character inexplicably prance into high kicks into skipping into flipping over and folding his leg backwards.
My Best distance is 6.8, but I laughed until tears ran down my face 3 different times while trying to get there. Perhaps it is the half a pot of coffee that I just drank, but I still think this is awesome.

Daily Show - Interviews at Both Rallies.
I the event that you may have missed this hilarious/terrifying story, here we can see some more of the rampant ignorance that is now making itself apparent. My favorite quote, "I think he's going to put a turban on and he is going to go in the White house and we are all going to be shot." Fucking brilliant.

Faith in the lord. "Thats a big make or break for everybody."
I will tell you what, this lady nailed it. She totally gets what ALL Americans want. I am an "everybody" and I am glad that this bog eyed representative for "all of us" is able to so eloquently deliver our message of faith and prayer to deliver a victory to the person that God thinks should be in charge, our Republican torch bearers McCain/Palin.
God bless us everyone, even the Atheists and Muslims. If we pray hard enough it wont have to get to "Everyone" we can help them see their different, and thereby wrong, beliefs and teach them the truth.
^^^^^^Satire^^^^^^
I genuinely believe that this kind of accepted ignorance is infinitely more toxic and dangerous to America than anything that can be strapped to a terrorist and flown into a building. It is this kind of blind racist/sexist/religious hatred that we cannot build a device to screen for at the airport. Invisible parasites eating away at our human decency. Simply embarrassing.

American Ignorance on an International Level
This is a report done on Al-Jazeera, a major Middle Eastern News Organization. Here is a link to their website. [Link]
This is exactly the kind of thing that makes me embarrassed to be called an American. Pure hate fueled ignorance. Or is that ignorance fueled hatred. Either way it is people like this that make all of us look bad... to the world.

Wal Mart - Strong-arming employees to vote Republican.
To those of you whom I spoke to about the video that I saw on MSNBC about Wal-Mart and the Memo that they sent out and the content of their recent store mettings, I have been unable to find that particular video back on MSNBC or anywhere on the web. It seems to have puzzlingly disappeared. (Please insert whatever conspiracy theory supports your beliefs here.) So, in my search to find the video I have only been able to locate the story at the link HERE. It comes from the wall street journal. It is also SEVERELY toned down from the piece that was run on MSNBC. There is also no mention of the memo that was shown on the screen and read from on the video, which said things like "Voting Democrat means most of you will lose your jobs." (As read aloud by a supervisor at a store meeting in Arizona, then repeated in spanish by a translator.) They have identified the meetings for the supervisors but not the mandatory store meetings where the information was distributed.
Also, Fox News had an article at the same time as the video on MSNBC went up, with the primary message being something along the lines of, "Wal-Mart warns employees of union problems." which went further into detail to describe how Wal-Mart is "doing it's part to protect it's workers from the issues that come along with unionization." and has since removed that article and replaced it (at the exact same URL) with the first few paragraphs of the WSJ article and a link to that article.
Scandalous.
If anyone can help me track down the original video on MSNBC, I last watched it streaming from their website on Friday Sept. 19 at approximately 11:00 pm. If you know of a youtube or vimeo link, please let me know and I will post it here. Also if anyone has a backup or archive of the Fox News article removed from the URL linked to below. Please let me know and I will repost them on my personal FTP.

This is a fascinating time lapse photography session lasting 17 years. I think it is quite cool that he has something that separates him from all of the other time lapse photo sessions on youtube now: first, the sheer duration of the time covered is staggering. Second, the rotational element.
Enjoy.

Sticking to a lie.
How to stick to a lie:
Step 1: Don't respond to direct questions.
Step 2: Change the subject and attack the person asking the question.
Step 3: Look like an ignorant jackass on television.
Thank you for that lesson, Brad Blakeman.

R.I.P. George Carlin, May 12, 1937 – June 22, 2008
The world of comedy has lost a legend. He will be missed but never forgotten. I recently saw him when he came to Denver on his final tour, he was amazing. This tour really seemed like he came to terms with the end, a farewell and big middle finger to all of us.
